The article attempts to compare and differentiate the competencies of the coordination meeting of heads of law enforcement agencies and the coordination meeting on law enforcement in the subjects of the Russian Federation by analyzing the circle of persons who are members of these meetings. As measures to minimize inconsistency in the legal regulation of these meetings, it is proposed to detail at the legislative level the list of persons who are members of each of the meetings and determine their status as members (participants) and head (chairman).
